India Dismantles ISI-Backed Espionage Network Monitoring Military Installations with Covert Surveillance Cameras

Delhi Police Special Cell dismantled an ISI-backed inter-state espionage module that deployed nine solar-powered CCTV cameras near sensitive Indian military installations across Punjab, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, and Rajasthan. Eleven suspects were arrested in two coordinated operations. The covert network monitored Army cantonments, border areas, and troop movement corridors, with real-time footage transmitted to Pakistan-based handlers using SIM cards obtained with false identities. Communication occurred through encrypted applications. Authorities linked the module to banned organization Babbar Khalsa International and assessed the operation averted a potential terror attack.
