UK Sanctions 35 Individuals and Entities Targeting Russia Drone Production Network and Migrant Trafficking for Front Lines

On May 5, the UK designated 35 individuals and entities in two target sets: a migrant trafficking network supplying Russian military units and a drone component supply chain tied to the Alabuga production zone in Tatarstan. Under the Global Migration and Human Trafficking Regime, London designated 17 individuals and companies for trafficking foreign nationals into frontline combat or coercive weapons-factory labor and for using migration as a destabilization tool against Ukraine and European security. Seven further targets were blacklisted for Alabuga ties, and 11 entities in Russia, Thailand, and China were sanctioned for supplying drone components in circumvention of trade controls.
