Senate Rejects Iran War Powers Resolution 49-50

The Senate rejected a joint resolution to direct the removal of United States Armed Forces from hostilities against Iran by a 49-50 vote. This marks the third time such a war powers resolution has failed in the Senate, following previous votes of 46-51 in April and 47-53 in March. The House also debated a similar War Powers Resolution on the same day.
