Hezbollah Rockets Hit Northern Israel as IDF Destroys Litani River Bridges in Escalation

The IDF destroyed the Qasmiyeh Bridge over the Litani River — the main road linking Tyre and Sidon — claiming Hezbollah used it to transfer fighters and weapons into southern Lebanon. A second strike hit the Dallafa bridge on the Litani's eastern portion. Lebanese President Aoun warned the strikes are a 'prelude to ground invasion.' Separately, Hezbollah fired rocket salvos into northern Israel, wounding two in Kiryat Shmona, one seriously. The bridge strikes mark an escalation in the Israeli campaign against Hezbollah, which resumed March 2 after the group fired rockets in response to the Khamenei killing.
