Inditex Discloses Contractor Data Breach Affecting Commercial Records at World's Largest Clothing Firm
Zara owner Inditex SA disclosed on April 16 that intruders gained unauthorized access to an external contractor's systems, compromising information on commercial relations at the world's biggest clothing company. Inditex stated that client names, contact information, passwords, and payment data were not affected. Separately, cybersecurity firm Brinztech reported that Inditex customer databases from Zara, Bershka, and Massimo Dutti were being offered for sale, though Inditex's statement did not address these claims.
