Ratcliffe Claims 25% Increase in CIA Human Sources, 70% Jump in CT Operations
Ratcliffe told SSCI the CIA achieved a 25% increase in recruited human sources, 25% in overall foreign intelligence collection, and 70% in CT operations since his confirmation. No independent verification exists for these figures. Sen. Moran questioned whether Iran operations are degrading Ukraine-focused collection -- Ratcliffe did not directly answer.
Analysis
Prior IC Brief (03/20): Ratcliffe testified to 440kg weapons-grade uranium claim. His 25% source increase claim is unverifiable but coincides with the CIA China recruitment video campaign that surpassed 120M views per the last brief. Senator Moran's question about Ukraine collection degradation remains unanswered -- a potential indicator of Iran war resource diversion.
