Russia Evacuates 198 Rosatom Staff from Bushehr Nuclear Plant After Fourth Airstrike Near Facility

Rosatom evacuated 198 staff from Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant on April 4, the third evacuation since the war began, leaving approximately 100 Russian staff at the facility. The IAEA reported one Iranian physical protection staff member killed by projectile fragments and building damage from shockwaves. Rosatom's CEO warned the likelihood of a nuclear incident is "unfortunately, only increasing." Russia informed the US and Israel about the evacuation, and an IDF source confirmed coordination with Moscow. The Bushehr area has been struck four times since February 28.
