Russia's Key Baltic Port Ust-Luga Resumes Crude Loading After Week of Ukrainian Drone Strikes
Russia's Ust-Luga Baltic port resumed crude oil loading on April 5 after a week-long halt caused by Ukrainian drone strikes on March 22, 25, 27, 29, and 31. Bloomberg satellite analysis shows the main Transneft crude terminal appears undamaged, but nearby Novatek gas-processing and Ust-Luga Oil fuel terminals show fire traces. At least 40% of Russia's oil export capacity has been halted due to drone attacks, pipeline strikes, and tanker seizures.
