Isar Aerospace Delays Historic European Orbital Launch Attempt to March 25 Due to Persistent Winds at Andøya
Isar Aerospace postponed its 'Onward and Upward' mission from March 23 to no earlier than March 25 due to strong winds at Andøya Spaceport in Norway. If successful, Spectrum will become the first rocket to reach orbit launched from European soil. The ESA-backed 'Boost!' program mission carries five cubesats and one non-separable experiment from European universities and companies: CyBEEsat (TU Berlin), TriSat-S (University of Maribor), Platform 6 (EnduroSat), FramSat-1 (NTNU), SpaceTeamSat1 (TU Wien), and a Dcubed deployment experiment. The launch window opens at 9 PM CET daily.
