New Torg Grabber Malware Steals Data From 850 Browser Extensions Including 700 Crypto Wallets
Security researchers identified a new info-stealing malware called Torg Grabber that targets data from 850 browser extensions, with over 700 targeting cryptocurrency wallets. The malware represents a shift in credential theft toward the browser extension ecosystem, which has become a primary attack surface as users store increasing amounts of financial data in browser-based crypto wallets. Push Security separately reported a rise in browser-based attacks including AITM phishing, ClickFix, malicious OAuth apps, and session hijacking.
