London Police Arrest Over 500 at Mass Protest Against Palestine Action Ban

Metropolitan Police arrested over 500 people at a mass vigil in Trafalgar Square opposing the government's ban on Palestine Action, which was proscribed as a terrorist organization in July 2025. More than 1,000 demonstrators gathered despite police warnings, with ages of those arrested ranging from 27 to 82. The UK High Court ruled the proscription unlawful in February but kept the ban in place pending the government's appeal, scheduled for April 28-29.
