Army Launches Drone Marketplace Developed in Partnership with Amazon Web Services

The Army launched a UAS Marketplace, a digital storefront enabling users to compare drone system functionalities, provide feedback, and place orders. Amazon Web Services collaborated with the Army Enterprise Cloud Management Agency in developing the platform. The marketplace supports the Pentagon's 'Drone Dominance' initiative and aims to accelerate equipment delivery to warfighters. Brent Ingraham, the Army's acquisition executive, said it 'lowers barriers to entry' for defense contractors. The platform is expected to benefit foreign military sales and international partnerships, strengthening the industrial base during the Iran conflict's elevated UAS demand.
