Isar Aerospace's Spectrum Rocket Attempts First-Ever Orbital Launch From European Soil

German company Isar Aerospace is attempting the second flight of its Spectrum rocket from Andoya Spaceport in northern Norway on March 23, aiming to become the first vehicle to reach orbit from European soil. The mission 'Onward and Upward' carries five cubesats and a scientific experiment under ESA's Boost! program. The two-stage, LOX/propane rocket can deliver 1,000 kg to LEO. The first flight in March 2025 crashed into the ocean after an anomaly.
