MIT Develops Multimaterial 3D-Printing Platform for Complete Electric Machines

MIT researchers created a multimaterial 3D-printing platform that can fully print functional electric machines in a single step using five materials. The team demonstrated a complete electric linear motor produced in hours with only one post-processing step. The platform collapses traditionally complex multi-factory supply chains into a single desktop process.
