19-Year-Old Mexican Migrant Dies in ICE Custody at Glades County; 46th Death Under Trump Administration

Royer Perez-Jimenez, 19, was found unresponsive at 2:34 a.m. Monday at Glades County Detention Center in Moore Haven, Florida, a facility the Biden administration closed and Trump reopened. ICE reports 'presumed suicide.' Perez-Jimenez is the 46th person to die in ICE custody since January 2025 and the youngest detainee death under Trump's second term.
