NATO Rutte Proposes 0.25% GDP Floor for Ukraine Aid from Alliance Members

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte raised the idea of alliance countries allocating 0.25 percent of GDP to help Ukraine during a closed-door meeting of NATO ambassadors. The proposal would establish a structural baseline for Ukrainian military and reconstruction support. Separately, Ukraine and Germany expanded their defense partnership including air defense and drone production cooperation.
