NGA Seeks Automated Feature Extraction for Foundation Digital Twin Program

NGA issued an RFI seeking industry solutions for automated extraction of geospatial features from imagery and maps as part of its Foundation Digital Twin program. The initiative aims to replace manual geospatial analysis with AI-driven detection, extraction, and classification of real-world objects. Separately, NGA awarded BlackSky a seven-figure contract for AI-enabled pattern-of-life monitoring at military and economic facilities worldwide.
