Ukrainian Military Intelligence Reveals Russia Exceeding Monthly Missile Production Targets by 10 to 20 Percent

BLUFMoscow's sustained missile overproduction has shifted the binding constraint on Ukrainian strike damage from Russian manufacturing capacity to Kyiv's Patriot interceptor deficit.

Vadym Skibitskyi, deputy head of Ukraine's Defense Intelligence (HUR), told RBC-Ukraine on Aug. 10 that Russian plants are running key missile types at 110-120% of monthly targets 123, with Kh-101 output at 140% of target (87 built in July against a 72-unit target), Kalibr at 111%, and Kh-35 at 200% 1234. He said Russia had already met its annual production targets for Zircon and Oniks missiles as of Aug. 3, with 33 Zircon and 60 Oniks units built in the first seven months 124. Skibitskyi linked the ballistic-missile increase partly to an April halt in Kinzhal and Kh-32 production, which freed fuel and components for other missiles 14. HUR recorded 198 ballistic and hypersonic missile launches in July, the year's highest monthly total, and 153 cruise-missile launches, the second-highest since February's 157 124.
