Hezbollah Claims Series of Attacks on Israeli Forces as IDF Strikes Southern Beirut

Hezbollah claimed a series of attacks on Israeli forces in northern Israel and southern Lebanon, with rockets wounding four people including one seriously. Israeli fighter jets struck southern suburbs of Beirut in response. Lebanese authorities report Israeli attacks have killed more than 1,030 people and displaced over 1 million since the war began. IDF Chief of Staff stated the fight with Hezbollah has 'only just begun,' while the IDF spokesperson indicated operations would continue for 'several more weeks.' An IDF probe found a farmer killed in the north was hit by Israeli shelling, not Hezbollah fire.
