SpaceX Starship V3 Maiden Flight Slips to Early April; 408-Foot Vehicle at Starbase
SpaceX's first Starship V3 flight (Flight 12) slipped from mid-March to early April. The V3 variant stands 408 feet tall and is designed to loft over 100 metric tons to LEO, nearly tripling V2 capacity. Ship 39, the first V3 upper stage, completed transport to Starbase for cryogenic testing. Schedule remains contingent on test completion and FAA clearance.
