Artemis 2 Moon Rocket Fixed, Targeting April 1 Launch for First Crewed Lunar Mission in 50 Years

NASA resolved the helium flow issue that delayed Artemis 2 through February and March, now targeting April 1 for launch. The 10-day mission will send astronauts Wiseman, Glover, Koch, and CSA's Hansen on a free-return trajectory around the Moon, the first crewed lunar flyby since Apollo 17 in 1972. The mission validates Orion's life support and deep-space navigation systems ahead of Artemis 3's planned lunar surface landing.
