Hezbollah Rejects Truce Talks, Claims Record 80+ Daily Strikes Against Israel

Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem declared his group would have none of truce negotiations, stating that when negotiations with the Israeli enemy are proposed under fire, this is an imposition of surrender. Hezbollah claimed more than 80 operations on Wednesday, the highest single-day total in the current war, including missile strikes on military sites in central Israel that triggered air raid sirens. Israel's Netanyahu responded by announcing expansion of the buffer zone in southern Lebanon. Lebanon's Ministry of Health reports at least 1,072 killed and 2,966 wounded since the offensive escalated on March 2.

Analysis
Hezbollah's explicit rejection of negotiations under fire removes the most plausible off-ramp for the northern front. With Lebanon's casualties at 1,072 and rising, the operational question is whether Hezbollah's remaining arsenal, estimated at 15% of pre-war stockpile, can sustain this tempo beyond 72 hours or whether the record claims represent a peak before decline.
