Destinus Monthly Cruise Missile Output Exceeds Pre-War European Annual Production
Destinus told Reuters, as relayed by Defense News
Destinus has made Ruta Block 1 a serial product, so the binding constraint for European buyers shifts to storage, launch units and targeting rather than missile count, and Kokorich himself says militaries must build the units and logistics to absorb output near 300 a month. Its in-house turbojet line in the roughly 1.5-kilonewton class, offered to other manufacturers from next year, could ease the propulsion shortage that has held back Ukrainian and European cruise missile makers. Block 2 has entered production, though no independent figure confirms its output or fielding. Confidence is high because the wire report and company materials agree, but every figure traces to Destinus, so repetition is not verification. The disclosure may instead be a marketing and fundraising signal to European ministries, with the monthly rate a peak or assembly figure rather than sustained fielded output. Since July, reporting has moved from development and flight testing to serial production.
