Tesla Cybercab Spotted on Giga Texas Production Line; Mass Production Targeted for April

Photos emerged showing two gold Tesla Cybercab robotaxis on the Giga Texas production line with seats installed and interior assembly underway but missing doors and front panels. The sighting follows Tesla's February 18 announcement of the first steering wheel- and pedal-free Cybercab rolling off the line. Mass production targeting hundreds of vehicles per week is expected to begin in April. The two-seat autonomous vehicle will cost under $30,000. Tesla also announced the AI4 (Hardware 4) computer can now be leased to xAI's Digital Optimus network for AI inference while vehicles are parked, blurring the line between autonomous vehicle hardware and distributed compute infrastructure.
