The campaign used deceptive websites, fake social media accounts alleging criminal conduct, and disparaging ads targeting Sébastien Delogu in Marseille, François Piquemal in Toulouse, and David Guiraud in Roubaix. Meta removed the associated account network for "coordinated inauthentic behavior," told Reuters the activity originated in Israel, and linked it to a BlackCore-claimed operation conducted for an African government. Reuters could not locate BlackCore in Israeli corporate records, and the firm's website and LinkedIn page went offline after journalists made inquiries.
