NGA Issues RFI for Automated Feature Extraction Under Foundation Digital Twin Program

NGA issued an RFI on March 16 for AI-powered automated feature extraction under its Foundation Digital Twin program. The system must detect, extract, and classify real-world objects from imagery with confidence metrics for analyst validation. Responses due March 30. This is NGA's most concrete step toward replacing manual geospatial analysis with machine learning at operational scale.
