Kushner and Witkoff Game-Planning Potential Iran Peace Talks as Backchannel Reactivates

Trump's envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff are actively game-planning potential Iran peace negotiations, with Egypt, Qatar, and the UK passing messages between Washington and Tehran. Iran has communicated interest in talks but with demanding terms: a ceasefire, guarantees against resumption of hostilities, and compensation. A direct Witkoff-Araghchi backchannel was reportedly reactivated, though Araghchi publicly denied recent contact, claiming his last communication with Witkoff preceded the February 28 strikes.
