New Intelligence Exposes IRGC-Linked Espionage and Assassination Network Targeting Israeli and Western Sites

Intelligence obtained by Iran International reveals operatives in an IRGC-linked espionage and assassination network, including a foreign cleric trained in Qom who coordinated attacks targeting Israeli and Western interests. The network was overseen by officer Alireza Mohammadi, who directed reconnaissance against targets in Israel and US military installations. The network's head, Majid Khademi, IRGC Intelligence chief, was killed in an Israeli strike on April 6.

Analysis
Khademi's death removes the network's senior coordinator when foreign assets were already active and before remnant cells could adapt cover, per Iran International reporting from a European intelligence service with acknowledged anti-regime editorial alignment. The network's documented reach into Western countries and against US military installations indicates IRGC Intelligence carried standing tasking well beyond the Israeli theater. With operatives now identified through the joint Mossad-IDF-ISA disclosure, law enforcement in at least one additional Western country will likely announce arrests or indictments within 90 days. The disclosure may instead have foreclosed further collection by surviving cells rather than generated actionable arrest opportunities for Western services.
