Drone Incursions Detected Over Key US Strategic Bases Following Launch of Epic Fury

The US military revealed that drone incursions occurred over key strategic bases on the American homeland following the launch of Operation Epic Fury. DefenseScoop reported that the military employed electronic jamming to counter the intrusions. The drones have not been attributed; they may reflect Iranian-directed intelligence collection or opportunistic surveillance by other actors exploiting the operational environment. The War Zone noted these were distinct from the unresolved drone sightings reported over US bases in late 2024 and early 2025.
