European Intelligence Agencies Choose French ChapsVision Over Palantir as Continent Pursues Sovereign Digital Backbone

BLUFEurope's sovereignty impulse is outrunning its technical evidence base, as two major intelligence services commit to an unproven vendor while counterterrorism operations depend on seamless migration.

France's DGSI ended a decade-long contract with Palantir and awarded a data-analytics contract worth roughly €10m to French startup ChapsVision, announced by Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu on June 16 as part of an effort to build "real autonomy" from foreign technology providers 12.
