Trump Fumes at NATO, Delays China Trip as Strait of Hormuz Coalition Stalls

Trump publicly excoriated NATO allies for refusing to contribute naval forces to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, stating leaving the alliance was 'worth considering.' European leaders rejected the request, with Germany warning that Israel's Lebanon ground offensive is an 'error.' Trump delayed a planned China trip, stating 'we've got a war going on.' France has deployed two frigates for a 'purely defensive' escort mission but declined to join a US-led combat operation. Hormuz tanker traffic remains down approximately 70% from pre-war levels.
