Iran Arrests Three Mossad-Recruited Operatives Targeting Military Sites in Semnan Province

Iranian intelligence announced the arrest of three individuals recruited by Mossad through encrypted Telegram channels who were tasked with collecting and transmitting intelligence on sensitive military installations in Semnan province. The operatives attempted to infiltrate Iran's security apparatus and relay classified information to Israeli intelligence networks. Separately, assets belonging to two additional operatives residing in Canada and the United Kingdom were confiscated in Hamadan province.

Analysis
Iranian CI claims should be treated with caution; wartime regimes routinely inflate counterespionage successes. However, the geographic targeting (Semnan province and West Azarbaijan) aligns with known Israeli intelligence collection priorities: Semnan hosts missile test facilities and space launch sites. The use of encrypted Telegram channels for recruitment is consistent with Mossad's documented digital tradecraft in prior operations.
