Azov Brigade Returns to Mariupol with AI Drones Striking Russian Supply Routes 160km Behind Frontline

The shift from Donetsk logistics hubs to Mariupol supply corridors is a geographic escalation, not a capability breakthrough. Hornet's AI-assisted targeting and Starlink integration, per Militarnyi's primary reporting, address precision loss under electronic warfare suppression and link degradation at range, making the 160-kilometer patrol radius credible. Azov's own footage reveals episodic strike cadence, not the sustained interdiction required to force hub relocation. Russian forces have consistently rerouted and dispersed under comparable pressure. It is unlikely these operations will disrupt logistics sufficiently to compel relocation of at least one major supply hub within 60 days. The "sanitary zone" framing may instead be primarily an information operation leveraging Azov's symbolic connection to Mariupol, amplifying unit prestige with actual logistics disruption incidental.
