DCSA Launches Individual Engagement Platform for Real-Time Security Clearance Tracking

The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency launched the Individual Engagement Platform (IEP), a public-facing interface that replaces legacy systems with a single transparent portal for individuals undergoing personnel vetting. Starting March 5, new applicants receive a direct link via eApp when their case is initiated. The platform allows applicants to track vetting status, self-report information, receive updates throughout the vetting lifecycle, and communicate securely with investigators. The platform is part of the Trusted Workforce 2.0 reforms and the broader shift from periodic reinvestigation to continuous vetting, which now covers 3.8 million cleared personnel.
