Iran Rejects Ceasefire Talks; Trump Says Iran 'Terms Not Good Enough'

Iran FM Araghchi stated Tehran 'never asked for a ceasefire or negotiation.' Trump said terms 'aren't good enough.' Pezeshkian set preconditions requiring guarantees against further aggression. No visible diplomatic off-ramp exists.

Analysis
The Mar 17 INTSUM reported Araghchi-Witkoff text message exchange as the sole US-Iran communication channel. Today's hardening of positions on both sides suggests even this minimal backchannel is not producing movement toward talks.
