Gaza Ceasefire Failing Six Months In as Oxfam Documents Over 2,000 Israeli Violations
Six months after the October 2025 US-brokered ceasefire, humanitarian organizations have given the agreement a failing grade. Gaza's Government Media Office documented over 2,073 violations including air strikes, gunfire, and incursions. The IPC hunger monitor reports 77% of Gaza's population faces severe acute food insecurity. Over 18,500 patients including 4,000 children need medical evacuation, but only 8% of agreed evacuees have been permitted to leave. No comprehensive reconstruction has begun, and more than two million people face deep uncertainty.
