Ukraine to Complete Druzhba Oil Pipeline Repairs This Spring, Zelensky Says

President Zelensky told journalists the Druzhba oil pipeline, damaged by a Russian strike in western Ukraine in late January, will be repaired this spring, with responsibility for supply logistics shifting to European partners. The pipeline historically delivered Russian crude to Hungary and Slovakia via Ukraine. Kyiv accepted EU assistance in March after the disruption fueled a standoff with Budapest and Bratislava over energy security. Zelensky tied the repair timeline to EU funding commitments.
