Army Receives First Autonomous-Ready, Optionally Piloted Black Hawk Helicopter
The US Army received its first autonomous-ready, optionally piloted Black Hawk helicopter. The aircraft can operate with reduced crew or unmanned, enabling logistics resupply and casualty evacuation in contested environments without risking pilots. This advances alongside Anduril's start of Fury drone production at its Arsenal-1 facility, where the company is pursuing a different production approach for autonomous combat aircraft.
