Solna District Court on Friday upheld the February 2025 dismissal of a Swedish Migration Agency case officer who had maintained contacts with an Iranian intelligence officer stationed at Iran's Stockholm embassy under diplomatic cover, a refugee-espionage agent, and leadership of the Bandidos motorcycle club 12. TV4, citing court documents, reported the officer disseminated classified data including details on agency employees and individuals of Iranian origin, Kurds, and Afghan asylum seekers, and photographed the interiors of Iranian passports for sharing with Iran-linked contacts 1.
